Ingredients
- ¾ cup salted butter, softened
- 1 cup British Class Golden Sugar, lightly packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp Cool Runnings Vanilla Extract
- 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp British Class Baking Powder
- 2 tsp Cool Runnings Chinese Five Spice
- 3 cups British Class Quick Oats
- 1 cup sultana raisins or chocolate chips (for the chocolate lovers)
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 ̊F.
2. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer mix together butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and Cool Runnings Chinese Five Spice.
4. Add flour mixture to butter mixture and mix until combined. Add in quick oats, raisins (or chocolate chips), and pecans and mix with spatula until fully combined.
5. On a baking pan with baking sheet, scoop a heaping tablespoon of batter and flatten gently with a fork for each cookie.
6. Bake for 10-13 minutes until golden brown. Take out from oven and let cool before taking a bite.
