Ingredients
- ¾ cup of milk
- ¼ cup of margarine, softened
- 3 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour
- 7 gr British Class instant yeast
- ¼ cup of British Class golden sugar
- ½ tsp of salt
- ¼ cup of water
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of British Class demerara style brown sugar
- 1 tbsp of Cool Runnings ground cinnamon
- ½ cup of margarine, softened
- ½ cup of raisins (optional)




Directions
1. Heat milk until it bubbles, then remove from heat. Stir in margarine until melted; let cool until lukewarm.
2. In a large bowl, mix 2 1/4 cups flour, yeast, golden sugar, and salt. Add water, egg, and milk mixture; beat well. Gradually mix in remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time. Once dough forms, knead on floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth.
3. Cover with a damp cloth and let rest 10 minutes. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened margarine in a small bowl.
4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread with cinnamon mixture and sprinkle with raisins if using. Roll up, pinch seam, and cut into 12 pieces. Place in greased muffin cups, cut side up. Cover and let rise 30 minutes.
5. Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake 20 minutes or until golden. Cool and serve warm.
