Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice), toasted
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp Cool Runnings Demerara Style Brown Sugar

1 tsp Cool Runnings All Purpose Seasoning No MSG
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 slices of white cheese (such as mozzarella, provolone, or Swiss)


Directions
1. In a skillet over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Add sliced onions and cook slowly, stirring occasionally, for about 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
2. Stir in Cool Runnings Demerara Style Brown Sugar, all purpose seasoning, and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until the onions are soft and jammy. Remove from heat.
3. While the onions are finishing, toast the bread to your desired crispness.
4. Place a slice of cheese on each slice of hot toast. Broil for 1–2 minutes in the oven or toaster oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Spoon a generous layer of warm caramelized onions over the melted cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy.
