Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp Cool Runnings Jerk Seasoning - scotch bonnet
- 8 small tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage (red or green)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp Cool Runnings Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce
- 1/2 cup diced pineapple (optional)
- 1 avocado, sliced
Directions
1. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cool Runnings Jerk Sauce until well coated. Let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove from heat.
3. In a small bowl, mix sour cream or Greek yogurt with Cool Runnings Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce to create a spicy crema.
4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
5. Assemble the tacos by layering shredded cabbage, cooked shrimp, pineapple (if using), avocado slices, and cilantro on each tortilla.
6. Drizzle with the spicy crema and serve immediately.
Tip: If you don't like the flavour of cilantro, you can replace it with thinly sliced green onions.
