Caribbean Sorrel Island Palmer

Ingredients

Directions
1. In a large pot, combine the dried sorrel, orange peels, ginger, cinnamon stick, and 5 cups of water.

2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

3. Remove from the heat, cover, and let steep until the mixture has cooled to room temperature.

4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher or bowl, discarding the solids.

5. In a large pitcher, combine 4 cups of the chilled sorrel concentrate, the cold water, and the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir well to combine.

6. Fill glasses with ice and pour the Sorrel Island Palmer over the ice.

7. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh strawberries, then serve immediately.
